Meet Our Teachers

Jacky Lamenzo Sinha - Founder
Hi there! I was born and raised in Needham, MA (NHS ‘08) and got my Early Childhood Education degree from the University of Hartford. After college I taught in Beijing, China for a year and then moved to Austin, TX where I took on an administrative role in an elementary school as Operations Manager.

After publishing my children’s book, Addy Wants to Fit In in early 2019, my passion for teaching was reenergized. I moved back to the Boston area in the summer of 2019 and am thrilled to be offering classes to writers of all ages. I can’t wait to meet you and your aspiring writer!

Rebeca Barbagallo - Teacher
My name is Beca and I am super excited to join Jacky and the Lemon House Publishing team. I have been a teacher in a variety of settings for 9 years. I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, first grade and have even taught English as a second language in Italy. Through Jacky’s writing and publishing class, I was able to write my own children’s book called You Can't Make Me Go! Coming up with an idea for the story and illustrating the pictures was not an easy task, but through Jacky’s encouragement and positive feedback from other classmates, I was able to achieve my goal. I look forward to writing with you!
